New Tutorial on the Totally Rad Actions – Mix & Match

So I just finished another video tutorial for the Totally Rad Action Mix – this time I focused on how you can combine multiple actions in one photo to customize the look that you get. There are some other tidbits in there as well on how to make the best use of them.

If you don’t have the actions already… well… why not? What are you waiting for??? Becker just wrote up a little mini-review on his blog, and for the next couple days, there’s a $25 discount. Check out beckersblog.com for the writeup and the details on how you can save some cash! What do you guys think of the tutorial?

… 8/31/07 – Edited to add: the promo code expired like a month ago… just as an FYI (I get an occasional email asking)

Cool Doug! I enjoyed the video tutorial very much, I think it will help in my editing, as I have been using the filter set, but I have not understood many of the combo’s like you just showed, but I feel confident now that I will try some more combos.

Hey, were you a Contra fan, for NES (or was it for SEGA or SNES)? Looked like you were playing that. Cool!

Hmmmm… got flash player? Does YouTube work for you? If not, then that might be the problem…

And I DID like Contra, back in the day… gotta play that again sometime. I was playing Metal Slug 3 in the video, I think… got this MAME machine that plays some 5000 games or something… once you get rid of the stuff that won’t run on my old machine, the stupid Mahjong games, and stuff that requires weird hardware (plus duplicate rom sets, bootlegs, etc) it’s still a couple thousand, I think. Too much fun. Been meaning to give it its own blog post, but haven’t got around to it.

    doug,
great tutorial but you should invest in a screen capture program that will record everything you do and make a quicktime that you can cut into your other great footage. that would make this that much better…try this but there are others that are cheaper, or free…

We are sorry, but this transaction has been declined.
Payment gateway response: This transaction has been declined.

What Can I do, to make the buy??
Send to you my number card?

    thank’s

You are just insanely goofy — that’s why I like your video tutorials best! Oh, thank you so much for explaining what Green With Envy is because I felt SO stupid for thinking, “WTF?! Is my computer just too lame to take on this action?! Whatever, dude.” But, now I see what your intentions were for it. So, thanks again!!!

BTW, how sad if I can’t add simple numbers together and my comment don’t post. ;) haha!

Oh, one more thing: I’m so glad you discovered how to show your desktop in the video without actually aiming the camcorder at the monitor. My head was spinning trying to keep straight with your camera movements. haha!
