I have an affection for odd juxtapositions of things… Elvis songs in metal style… Gangster rap in a lounge style… Mega-Man kicking Samus Aran’s ass… stuff like that always tickles me. So I couldn’t resist sharing something I stumbled upon this morning, which I think is just fabulous… the bible, illustrated with Legos, over at The Brick Testament. It’s kinda like Lego Star Wars (great games, by the way), except with real Legos. Whoever put this site together has spent a lot of time with their macro lens, creating thousands of illustrations of passages from the Good Book. Take a minute or two and head on over to find your favorite story. Quite a vivid and unusual way to experience the bestselling book of all time.

Thanks, that was fun. We had a little visit over there. My son (5) big Lego and Lego Star Wars fan. That was a huge project someone put together!

cool! that is so creative! not that i don’t dig lego and didn’t spend my fair share of time obsessed with it, but i really wonder what the fascination is with re-creating all things in the lego version…? anyway, this is just outta the ball park! :P
