Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory was on this morning, and since there’s nothing to do on Thanksgiving prior to eating turkey, Chenin and I sat down and watched the whole thing while drinking hot cocoa. The Gene Wilder version, not the (with all respect to Johnny Depp), crass, over-done remake of late.
Anyway, I’ve seen that movie several times, and still really love it. But one quote stood out to me, one which I never remember hearing in the movie before. I think it might be one of my favorite movie quotes ever, and I thought I’d pass it along. Happy Thanksgiving!
